Docket SU25-27: An applicant-initiated Special Use Authorization request to allow a solar energy facility and data center along E. Parker Ranch Road east of S. Kansas Settlement Road near Willcox (APN 305-43-051F). The property totals about 40 acres and is zoned RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres).

Background:

The county received a Special Use Authorization request from Louis and Maria Mouza (applicants) to allow a solar energy facility with data center along E. Parker Ranch Road east of S. Kansas Settlement Road near Willcox (APN 305-43-051F). The phased project includes six blocks of solar panels, a data center, warehouse/equipment yard, and inverter/switchgear pads.
