Agenda Item Text:

Approve Grant Agreement 3-04-0049-015-2025 between the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration and Cochise County for the installation of the Fuel Farm Self Service System at the Cochise County Airport in Willcox, in the amount of $70,841, effective October 21, 2025.
 

Background:

The Fuel Farm currently does not have a self-serve function. This is a grant provided by the FAA’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
Grant match requirement is 5% ($3,542.05). 
 

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Staff will submit the signed grant agreement and process payment for the match requirement.
 

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

The lack of maintenance of the Fuel Farm will result in further deterioration and would not have a self-serve system for customer’s convenience.
