Approve Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) 25-0011314-I, Middle March Creek Bridge Project 8087 (Pearce Rd Mile Post 4.8) Scoping Project, between Arizona Department of Transportation and Cochise County, in the amount of $127,305, with a County match of $7,695.
Background:
These Grant funds were awarded through the ADOT Off-System Bridge Program (OSB). The purpose of the OSB Program is to fund Scoping for replacement or rehabilitation on bridges that are not on the Federal-aid highway system (local roads or rural minor collectors). The ADOT Bridge Inspection Report for this bridge has a sufficiency rating of 47.4. This is a 1-lane bridge built in 1900 for transportation of goods between Pearce Mining District to Tombstone Mining District.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
ADOT will finalize IGA thru DocuSign and initiate the project.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
IGA will be returned to ADOT and project canceled.
To BOS Staff: Document Disposition/Follow-Up:
ADOT will send a DocuSign document of the IGA to the Board for signature. Bert has approved the IGA and John said we do not need a Grant form for this type of ADOT grant.
