Acknowledge the Completion of Right-of-Way Dedication for Rezoning Docket RZ25-04 – Zoning Ordinance 25-08 Compliance.

Background:

Subject parcels APNs 408-34-004A and 408-34-004D were rezoned from RU-4 (Rural) to LI (Light Industry) under Docket RZ25-04 to facilitate warehousing and storage uses supporting the new Douglas Commercial Port of Entry. As a condition of the rezoning, the applicant was required to dedicate right-of-way for public roadway access. The applicant has executed and recorded the Deeds of Dedication, and the Chair of the Board signed the deeds prior to the hearing, satisfying the rezoning condition. With this requirement completed, the rezoning is now finalized. This item is provided for the Board’s information.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Development Services will monitor compliance with remaining rezoning conditions, including wildlife considerations, during future permit reviews.

The item is provided solely to inform the Board that the condition of the rezoning has been satisfied.
