Adopt Zoning Ordinance 26-08 to rezone tax parcel 117-02-314D, formerly tax parcels 117-02-309, 312, 313, and 314C, from SR-43 (Single-Household Residential District, one dwelling per 43,000 square feet) to SR-174 (Single-Household Residential District, one dwelling per 4 acres) pursuant to the application of Michael and Susan Drougas (Supervisor District 3).
Background:
The County received a request from Michael and Susan Drougas (applicants) to rezone approximately 7.6 acres from SR-43 (Single-Household Residential District, one dwelling per 43,000 square feet) to SR-174 (Single-Household Residential District, one dwelling per 4 acres). The property is located in Sunsites Unit #2 and the applicants intend to develop the property for residential use utilizing the owner-builder opt out program.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The department will update the zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The parcel will remain SR-43 and future development will conform to applicable use and site development standards of the SR-43 zoning district.
