Information
Agenda Item Text:
Approve Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) CTR060579 Amendment 1, between the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Cochise Health & Social Services for immunization services, in the amount of $118,619 effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
Background:
Through this IGA with ADHS, Cochise County Health & Social Services has been able to provide immunization services to all residents of Cochise County, regardless of insurance status. The funding supports procurement of vaccines, assists in coverage of staffing costs to administer vaccines and oversee program implementation, and assists in costs for vaccine-related supplies and materials.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If approved, CCHSS will be able to continue providing immunization services to Cochise County residents wishing to be vaccinated, regardless of insurance status.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved, CCHSS will not be able to provide critical immunization services to those wanting to be vaccinated throughout Cochise County.
