Adopt Zoning Ordinance 25-05 to rezone tax parcel 407-83-006 (District 2) from R-36 (Residential District, one dwelling per 36,000 square feet) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) pursuant to the application of Pedro De Castro.
Background:
The County received a request from Pedro De Castro (applicant) to rezone tax parcel 407-83-006 from R-36 (Residential District, one dwelling per 36,000 square feet) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres). The property totals 40 acres and is located on Denham Road near Highway 191 about 1.5 miles west of Douglas.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The department will update the county zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The parcel will remain R-36 and future property improvements will conform to applicable use and site development standards of the R-36 zoning district.
