Presentation by Stefanie Smallhouse, Executive Director of the Arizona Natural Resource Conservation Districts Association, regarding Cochise County exercising Coordination with Federal Agencies.
Background:
The Board of Supervisors recently took a position of requesting formal coordination by the USFWS and BLM on the Spikedace and Loach Minnows and land use policies respectively. Ms. Smallhouse is the Executive Director of the Arizona Natural Resource Conservation Districts Association. She will give the Board an overview of the Coordination concept and outline the success the Conservation Districts have had exercising this effort in the past.

Staff will continue to exercise coordination as an avenue for assuring consistency between Cochise County land use policies and those proposed by the Federal Government.
