THIS IS A JOINT WORK SESSION OF THE COCHISE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, THE SIERRA VISTA CITY COUNCIL AND THE PUBLIC LANDS ADVISORY COMMITTEE -- Presentation by Mary Darling of Darling Geomatics on the status of federal environmental issues.

Status of federal environmental issues:
A. 404 Wetland Permits – New case law regarding Corps of Engineers and EPA
B. Endangered Species Act Issues – Jaguars, wolves, garter snakes, water umbel, etc.
C. San Pedro River –BLM SPRNCA Resource Management Plan, Navigability, Bureau of Reclamation, etc.
D. US Forest Service – Travel Management Plan, Forest Land Use Plan, etc.
E. Energy Projects – SunZia, Southline, etc in relation to Buffalo Soldier Electronic Test Range
