Discussion and possible direction regarding the Final Draft Report for Bisbee Douglas Int’l Airport and Cochise County Airport Master Plan Updates prior to approval by FAA and adoption of the plans.
Background:
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant requirements recommend a public meeting and three Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) meetings in connection with updating an airport master plan. This meeting will satisfy the public meeting requirement and two previous TAC meetings have been held. This is an opportunity for the BOS to review the Airport Master Plans and Drawings prior to submittal to FAA and ADOT for approval. Once approved by the FAA and ADOT, the Board will need to formally adopt and accept the plans. This planning process started in October, 2013 and is expected to be completed on schedule before the end of this year.
