Approve the Board of Equalization Hearing Officer's recommended decisions for Notice of Change appeal hearings held on October 30, 2014 and November 6, and 13, 2014.
Background:
Appellants had until November 14, 2014 to appeal the Hearing Officer's recommended decisions for all Notice of Change hearings. As there were no challenges to the Hearing Officer's recommended decisions from either the Assessor or the appellants, the recommended decisions will be adopted by the Board of Supervisors acting as the Cochise County Board of Equalization.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send final letters to all of the appellants.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
By statute, all Petitions for Review of Notice of Change must be completed by November 21, 2014. Should the Board fail to do this, Cochise County will be out of compliance.
