Discussion and possible direction regarding the Sheriff's Office Helicopter Program.
Background:
The Sheriff’s Office is moving towards revamping its helicopter program. The new program, although very similar to the way the old program was run, has a new look. There is potential for the county to actually own the equipment and for all other aspects of the program, insurance, maintenance, pilot manning etc to be provided by contract. All expenses involved would be covered by private grant.

Formally approve new program.
