Agenda Item Text:
Approve an extension amendment to the Emergency Medical Services Supporting Services Agreement between RCHP-Sierra Vista, Inc. D/b/a Canyon Vista Medical Center (the Hospital") and Cochise County Sheriffs Office (the "Facility") in order to reflect the recent name change of the hospital.
Background:
Due to purchase of Sierra Vista Regional Health Center and recent name change to Canyon Vista Medical Center, this amendment is created to reflect the name change.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Cochise County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Personnel will continue to seek medical direction from Canyon Vista Hospital when necessary.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Non-approval would result in Search and Rescue Medical personnel not being able to receive appropriate medical direction to provide necessary emergency care.
