Discussion and possible direction on the request by Army Corps of Engineers for an agreement between Customs and Border Patrol and Cochise County for a real estate right to maintain certain roads in the South King’s Ranch road area.
Background:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, acting as the real estate representative for Customs and Border Protection (CBP), will request the County grant to CBP an agreed-upon real estate right that will allow CBP to maintain the following roads at their discretion. The roads requested will be: S. Kings Ranch Road, E. Lane Ranch Road, S. Hutchinson Road, E. Clinton Road and S. Apache Sky Road, all of which have public right-of-way/easements and are not County Maintained. (added emphasis by Karen Riggs)
