Approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Cochise County and Cenpatico Integrated Care for crisis mental health services for a five year term with automatic five year term renewals unless terminated by either party pursuant to the termination clause.
Background:
Cenpatico is a mental health service provider who through Cenpatico Behavioral Health of Arizona, provides emergency mental health intervention services. When requested by first responders, health and social services, or emergency management, Cenpatico will supply trained counselors to provide crisis intervention and mental health services to aid workers and residents for need resulting from a large-scale emergency.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If approved, Cochise County will continue to use Cenpatico for crisis/emergency mental healthcare.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved, Cochise County will not have access to Cenpatico's free crisis mental healthcare.
