Discussion and possible direction regarding the Library District bookmobile service.
Background:
Bookmobile service was not included in the Library District budget adopted for 2016/17. In the absence of a Library Director, that change was never implemented, and the bookmobile continued to operate. In December 2016, the truck broke down and remained out of service for more than a month. After consulting with Fleet and looking at the budget, the Library Director would like to suspend the service on the grounds that it is not sustainable.
