Discussion and possible direction regarding Area Plans as related to the Cochise County Comprehensive Plan.
Background:
Area Plans, according to the Cochise County Comprehensive Plan, are: "community specific sub-sets of the overall Comprehensive Plan". In their May 8th Work Session, the Board requested an update to our Area Plans. the questions and thoughts expressed at that time were:
- Do Area Plans have value?
- Should we continue to have Area Plans?
- If Area Plans have value, they should be revisited on a regular basis to assure that they remain viable.
