Approve Gas Line Utility Easement at Cochise County Regional Service Center in Willcox for the City of Willcox.
Background:
During the remodel of the Willcox JP Court and CCSO it was discovered that the City of Willcox did not have a utility easement for existing natural gas pipe line. This easement is required for City of Willcox to perform work on their gas lines and to ensure that no permanent structures are built over them.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Once approved, the documents will be recorded and copies sent to the City of Willcox
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Utility easements are required for the utility owner or regulating jurisdiction to have legal access to their utility.
If not approved, the City of Willcox cannot install meters for gas service to County Service Center in Willcox.
