[TABLED FROM JANUARY 23, 2018 MEETING] Approve the Annual Joint Funding Agreement No. 18CMAZ00900 with United States Geological Survey (USGS) in the amount of $70,400 for the period of October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018 to conduct hydrologic investigations and data collection.
Background:
This request is to help fund an annual program that the County has supported financially for a number of years. The request is for $70,400. These funds help support the work of USGS personnel in the hydrologic monitoring in the Sierra Vista Subwatershed of the Upper San Pedro Basin.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Route agreements as requested.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Important work for hydrological monitoring in the Sierra Vista Subwatershed will not be accomplished.
