Discussion and possible direction regarding changes proposed to the Cochise County Zoning Regulations regarding Recreational Vehicles as dwellings.
Background:
This work session is to present the proposed updates to the Cochise County Zoning Regulations to permit Recreational Vehicles as dwellings in certain zoning districts. RVs would only be permitted as dwellings only in zoning districts which currently permit rehabilitated pre-1976 mobile homes (RU, R, MR-2), and would require approved waste disposal systems, exactly as any other type of dwelling unit.
Staff has received inquiries from the public and members of the Board and has prepared the proposal above.
