Special session and potential executive session pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02(B), 38-431.03(3) & (4) to allow the County Attorneys’ Office and County Administrator to provide updates and, where necessary, obtain approval and direction from the Board of Supervisors on the following water-related matters:
- Developments in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area ("SPRNCA") contested matter,
- County participation in a proposed mapping project related to water users in the St. David and Pomerene Irrigation Districts,
- Cochise Conservation & Recharge Network ("CCRN") Projects, including potential Flowtography Agreement and potential agreement with the City of Bisbee, and
- County's participation as a cooperating agency on the Bureau of Land Management Resource Management Plan related to the SPRNCA.
Background:
The County Attorney's Office will provide updates on water litigation and projects that are on-going in Cochise County.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The County Attorney's Office will proceed as directed by the Board of Supervisors during the meeting and potential executive session.
If the Board of Supervisors approves the County's work on a proposed mapping project related to water uses in the St. David and Pomerene Irrigation Districts, then the Director of Development Services will provide staffing for the purpose of completing the project in conjunction with the County Attorney's Office

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If the Board of Supervisors does not approve or direct the County Attorney's Office to proceed, then the discrete litigation issues and projects discussed will not be pursued further by the County Attorney's Office unless or until it is directed otherwise
