Sitting as the Cochise County Board of Equalization, the Board of Supervisors will uphold or amend the Assessor's decision for the Taxpayer Notice of Claim for parcel number 302-20-003 multi.

Background:

G. Lawrence Schubart Stubbs and Schurbart, P.C., acting as agent for NP Arizona Real Estate 1, L.L.C. filed a Taxpayer Notice of Claim. Philip Leiendecker, Assessor, disputed the claim of error. NP Arizona Real Estate 1, L.L.C. then filed a petition for Review of Taxpayer Notice of Claim with the Board of Equalization within the allotted 90 days.  The Board is required by statute to hear the case and render a decision within 30 days.

The Petition was postmarked on June 6, 2018.  The Board must make a decision by July 6, 2018.

Send a decision letter to the petitioner with copies to the Assessor and the Treasurer.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

Will not be in statutory compliance after July 6, 2018.
