Approve a change to the previously adopted Tax Rate for the McNeal Elementary School District, reducing it from 8.5781 ti 8.0630, per A.R.S. 42-17151(C).

Background:

See attached letter from Property Tax Oversight Commission.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

County Schools Ofc to notify County Treasurer, State Dept of Revenue, Property Tax Oversight Commission & McNeal Elementary School District of change in tax rate, if approved; also, notify McNeal that they need to change their adopted budget.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

An adopted tax rate will exceed the maximum allowable by law.
