Discussion and possible approval of a mitigation plan to address the hazardous material incident in the Naco, Arizona area.
Background:
On or about 0615 on 9 Sept 2018 a sewer line on the Mexican side of the border burst sending HAZMAT across the international border. County staff is working with other agencies to monitor/treat the affected areas, but staff needs the Board to approve a formal plan to move forward.
