Approve all of the non-contested Hearing Officer's recommended decisions for Notice of Change hearings held on November 1, 2018.
Background:
Appellants had until November 9, 2018 to appeal the Hearing Officer's recommended decisions for all Notice of Change hearings. As there were no challenges to the Hearing Officer's recommended decisions from either the Assessor or the appellants, the recommended decisions will be adopted by the Board of Supervisors acting as the Cochise County Board of Equalization.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send final letters to all of the appellants and copies to the Treasurer.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
By statute, all Petitions for Review of Notice of Change must be completed by November 16, 2018. Should the Board fail to do this, Cochise County will be out of compliance.
