Approve a letter authorizing the University South Foundation to use the Cochise County Regional Service Center located at 1012 N. G Avenue in Douglas for a fundraising event on March 23, 2019.
Background:
The University South Foundation has asked that the County authorize the use of a county building for a fundraising event and the county would like to formally give permission for this venue to be used for this event. The County understand that all requirements for the sale and serving of liquor is the responsibility of the Foundation and the vendors.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send the letter to the Foundation.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The foundation will not be able to host their fundraising event at the county building.
