Agenda Item Text:
Approve Arizona Complete Count Committee 2020 letter of support requesting local residents allow Census enumerators to access their location as they visit area properties to help people complete their surveys.
Background:
The Census Bureau is visiting this location as part of the 2020 Decennial Census. The decennial census counts everyone in the United States, including people who live or stay in nontraditional living situations such as RV parks, marinas, campgrounds, racetracks, carnivals, and hotels/motels. The Census Bureau data collected determine how more than $675 billion of federal funding are spent on infrastructure, programs, and services each year.
Please allow the census interviewers access to your location as they knock on the doors of the occupied residential structures and/or units in your area so that they may attempt to speak with residents. The census interviewers will work efficiently with minimal disruption to residents. Each interview will take approximately 10 minutes.
