Approve ASTRO 25 System Upgrade Agreement between Cochise County and Motorola Solutions for the County's radio communication system in the amount of $4,210,653 effective March 24, 2020 through March 24, 2029. 

Background:

The County's radio communication system is critical for public safety and support functions in Cochise County and the upgrade agreement services are critical to maintain the highest level of performance and functionality of system operations. 

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Send signed agreement to Motorola Solutions to implement new upgraded system. 

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

The current radio communication system will not receive upgrades that may impact functionality of current radios, which are critical to emergency response in the County.
