Approve the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Expanded grant from the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, in the amount of $4,000 for mobile printing service for Cochise County branch libraries, effective June 15, 2020 through August 6, 2021.
Background:
The "CARES Expanded" grant will provide funds to implement mobile printing service at two rural branch libraries (Portal and Sunsites), enhancing customer service and reducing wait times for public computer use.
Any remaining funds will be allocated to sanitation supplies for the library branches to ensure a safe environment for staff, volunteers, and members of the public.
The CARES Expanded grant is classified as a mini-grant, with streamlined application and reporting procedures.
