Approve the Arizona Department of Health Services Intergovermental Agreement, Contract # ADHS18-1175366, for the Environmental Health Services program, between the Arizona Department of Health Services and Cochise Health & Social Services, in the amount of $63,001, effective July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.
Background:
This Prop 201 Smoke Free Arizona Grant is the continuation of the Cooperative Agreement between ADHS and the County for the grant year beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020. A New Purchase Order will follow shortly. The Prop 201 Smoke Free Arizona grant is a revenue stream for Cochise Health & Social Services for providing services through inspections and complaint investigations into public spaces compliance with Prop 201.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Process paperwork and manage program.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The EHS program will not receive reimbursement for services rendered and eliminate an established revenue stream. Prop 201 Smoke Free Arizona is a statutorily mandated service.
