Discussion and Possible Direction relating to Orientation for the Board of Supervisors - topics include: County Overview; Your Guide to County Policies; County Budget in Brief; Open Meeting Law Basics; and Board of Supervisors Meeting Schedule and Processes.
Background:
With the new Board of Supervisors taking office effective January 1, staff will be providing a general Orientation session, intended to provide a broad overview of the County and items of impact to the Board. Items of specific interest will be discussed at future Board meetings, rather than today's Orientation session.
