Approve the appointment of Mr. Mose Lee to the Cochise County Building Code Advisory and Appeals Board to fill the electrician position for a three-year term to expire on September 25, 2023.
Background:
Mr. Lee expressed interest in the electrician board member position after the previous board member decided to retire. Mr. Lee comes highly recommended for this position. His appointment would fill the electrician position with a three-year term which expires on September 25, 2023. The BCAAB unanimously recommended approval of his appointment at their April 7, 2021 board meeting.
The Cochise County Building Code Advisory and Appeals Board was established in September 2013 as a seven-member board to hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the Building Official regarding application and interpretation of the adopted building codes; to determine the appropriateness of alternative building materials and construction methods and to advise the Building Official and Development Services Building Safety Division on proposed revisions or additions to adopted building codes.
Mr. Lee has twenty-one years’ experience as an electrician and is employed by Antelope Run Electric.
