Approve a Technical Assistance and Training Agreement between Cochise Health & Social Services and the Public Health Foundation for Quality Improvement Basics Training for 25 staff members over the course of five to six weeks totaling $17,000.
Background:
Cochise Health & Social Services is committed to being a Health Department that is ready for Public Health Accreditation. The foundation for Public Health Accreditation provides quality improvement training. This training will lay the foundation of knowledge, understanding and practice needed for key personnel to implement continuous quality improvement projects into their programs.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If approved, the training sessions will be scheduled to start as soon as possible but no later than June 15, 2021.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved, the staff will continue to lack the knowledge, understanding and practice needed to implement continuous quality improvement into their programs.
