Approve the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant from the Arizona State Library, in the amount of $21,807.83 to support community services, effective July 1, 2021, through August 5, 2022.
Background:
The ARPA award will be used to support informal education programs, including outdoor events, and technology access at the rural branch libraries in Bowie, Elfrida, Portal, Sunizona, and Sunsites.
The grant funds will be used to purchase programming materials including books and hands-on activities, as well as electronic tablets and similar technology geared toward children and older adults.

The Library District will request the funds and purchase the materials.
