Adopt Zoning Ordinance 21-12 to approve Docket R-21-02, Amendments to Article 17 and Article 18 of the Cochise County Zoning Regulations to provide consistency between the County's Adopted International Building Code and Cochise County Zoning Regulations.
Background:
Staff is recommending a number of amendments to the Zoning Regulations that coincide with updating the adopted building code from 2012 and 2015 that will be heard at the same public hearing.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If approved, update the Zoning Regulations.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Inconsistencies between the building code and the zoning regulations pertaining to building permit exemptions, permit timeframes and other proposed amendments.
