Agenda Item Text:
Approve Community Enhancement Fund expenditures for District 2: Compact and Chip Seal Oak Street in Pirtleville, in the amount of $2,600.
Background:
Supervisor English has submitted for approval. Oak Street in Pirtleville has a broken pipe under the road going to Pirtleville Cemetery. The Pirtleville Cemetery Committee is hiring a contractor to make the road cut to repair the broken pipe. This is a county maintained road but the expense of compacting the cut and chip sealing it was not included in the budget. The committee is working with the highway department to coordinate the cut and control traffic for this improvement.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Release funds for project.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Project will not be funded.
