Approve a Multi-License Acquisition of Control liquor license application submitted by Ms. Andrea Lewkowitz, for Western Refining Retail LLC, located at 5217 S. Hwy 92, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 and at 5620 S. Hwy 92, Hereford, AZ 85615.

Background:

Ms. Andrea Lewkowitz has applied for a Multi-License Acquisition of Control liquor license for Western Refining Retail LLC, located at 5217 S. Hwy. 92, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 and at 5620 S. Hwy. 92, Hereford, AZ 85615.  The Sheriff’s Office has no recommendation.  The Treasurer's Office advised the property taxes for the parcels in question are current.  Development Services has recommended approval of the application. There have been no formal protests to this liquor license. 

The Health Department has no recommendation.  

Ms. Lewkowitz has paid the $100.00 processing fee. Supporting documentation regarding this liquor license is attached.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Board staff will forward the Board’s decision to the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

A hearing on this application will be scheduled with the State Liquor Board.
