Approve related Professional Service Agreements between Cochise County and multiple community partners, associated with Contract No. CTR055990 COVID-19 Health Disparities, attached hereto, all effective through May 31, 2023.

Background:

IGA CTR055990, which was approved by the Board of Supervisors on August 10, 2021, included contracting with multiple community partners to accomplish the Statement of Work outlined in the grant.  These are the first six of ten community partner service agreements to be presented to the Board of Supervisors for approval.  The funding source for these agreements is CTR055990.
  1. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01 The Arizona Board of Regents on behalf of the University of Arizona, Arizona Prevention Research Center in the amount of $226,319;
  2. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-A Arizona Community Health Workers Association, Inc. in the Amount of $750,000;
  3. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-B Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc. in the Amount of $458,000;
  4. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-D Pinal Hispanic Council in the Amount of $277,000;
  5. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-E Southeast Arizona Area Health Education Center in the Amount of $198,620;
  6. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-F Winchester Heights Health Organization in the Amount of $335,000.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

CHSS will not be able to fulfill the requirements of the agreement between Cochise County and Arizona Department of Health Services as outline in CTR055990.
