Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of Willcox and Cochise County for building plan review, inspection, and engineering services, effective upon approval by both entities for a one-year term, with automatic one-year renewals.
Background:
The City of Willcox has requested from the County assistance with building plan review, inspection, and engineering services. The IGA will maximize resources and improve the efficiency of local governments in Cochise County. The County currently has similar agreements for building and planning services. The Development Services Department has the capacity to assist the City of Willcox and support its efforts to grow as a community. The IGA supports Priority 3 of the BOS Strategic Work Plan 2021 - 2024.

Begin plan review, inspection, and engineering services as needed by the City.
