Discussion regarding the following Agreements with the State of Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA):
- Agreement M21-0079 ($675,000), for Pilot Program to Reduce Human Trafficking;
- Agreement M21-0080 ($1,100,000), for Arizona Border Region Enforcement Equipment;
- Agreement M21-0081 ($3,700,000), for Human Trafficking Prevention and Entry into the United States Prevention; and
- Agreement M21-0082 ($7,360,000), for Border Related Crimes, Prosecution and Imprisonment.
Background:
The four subject agreements will be on the Board of Supervisors February 8, 2022 agenda for action. The purpose of today's Work Session is to allow an opportunity to review and discuss the agreements prior to taking action.
