Approve Contract with Progressive Roofing to repair the roof of the large hanger located at the Bisbee-Douglas International Airport, in the amount of $40,889.02.
Background:
The roof of the large hander at BDI was recently damaged by a wind storm. The cost to replace the roof is $400,000. Instead of replacing, staff has decided to repair the damage. This project will be funded from half-cent sales tax in the County Capital Fund (400) and transferred to the Airport Enterprise Fund (105).
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Create a purchase order and schedule the repair.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The roof will not be repaired and further damage to the structure may occur.
