Approve the appointment of Mr. John Pintek to the Board of Adjustment, representing District 2, effective September 1, 2022, through December 31, 2024.
Background:
The recently established Board of Adjustment with jurisdiction Countywide consists of three members, one from each Supervisor District, residing in the District. Each member is nominated by the County Supervisor for that district. Mr. John Pintek resides in District 2 and has agreed to serve on the Board of Adjustment. Per ARS 11-816, members of each board shall be appointed for staggered terms of four years each. Mr. Pintek's first term will expire on December 31, 2024.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send an appointment letter and administer the Oath of Office to Mr. Pintek, as stated below in the BOS staff follow-up.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The Board of Adjustment, District 2, will have a vacancy on the three-member Board.
