Discussion and possible direction on the utilization of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding with briefings on completed, on-going and future projects.
Background:
Since May 2021, Cochise County has received $24.5 million in aid from the Federal Government as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The Board of Supervisors has approved the expenditure of over $8 million for projects that comply with the US Treasury Final Rule. The Work Session will provide the Board with an update on the status of the projects, and discussion of potential future uses of the funds.
Proposed Outcome: The Board will be informed on ARPA projects and become aware of future plans that staff will bring to the Board for approval.
