Approve Proclamation declaring November 4, 2022 as National Adoption Day in Cochise County.
Background:
This is the 8th Annual local observance of the Cochise County National Adoption Day. On this day, children will be adopted and placed in their forever homes.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Cochise County Superior Court will present the Proclamation on November 4, 2022 during the adoption hearings.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The adoption hearings would be considered regular hearings, without the recognition of National Adoption Day.
