Discussion and possible direction regarding Cochise Health & Social Services, Environmental Health Services Division, as follows:
- Environmental Health Fee Schedule;
- Resolution to correct errors in a previous resolution regarding the adoption of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Code and Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) delegation agreement; and,
- Request for additional Environmental Health Services Division staff.
Background:
This will be the second year implementing the fee increase plan approved by the BOS at the January 2022 BOS Meeting. This fee schedule
adds 1/4 of the difference between the actual cost to provide the service to the current fee.
Resolution to correct errors in a previous resolution regarding the adoption of the FDA Food Code and ADHS delegation agreement.
Data will be provided on the actual number of inspections conducted compared to the number of licensed establishments and discuss the
need for additional FTE(s).
Proposed Outcome: The Board of Supervisors will agree to moving these three items to a Regular Board of Supervisors Meeting agenda.
