Approve Contract 23-19-CRT-01, between Cochise County Superior Court and Pre-venTronics, for Ballistic Protection – Court Locations in Bisbee and Sierra Vista, Arizona.
Background:
The Ballistic Protection for the court locations in Bisbee and Sierra Vista would enhance the security of the judges, staff, and public. In an attempt to stay current with modern safety and protection practices, ballistic protection will enhance our ability to protect in the event of a critical incident, which is becoming frequent in today’s society.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send Request for Proposal for signature and issue a purchase order.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The impact would be that the court locations would remain vulnerable to a critical incident.
