Discussion and possible direction regarding administrative and supervisory authority over the Elections Department after the Agreement for Election Services with Cochise County Recorder David Stevens terminates on September 7, 2023.
Background:
Recorder David Stevens signed an agreement on February 28, 2023 for Election Services with the Board of Supervisors. In the agreement, Recorder David Stevens was named Interim Elections Director and the responsibility of operations and administration of elections and special districts was delegated to the County Recorder.
