Discussion and possible direction regarding County animal shelter agreements and projects.
Background:
The Board held a work session on animal shelter projects and agreements on July 27, 2023. At that meeting, the Board requested a follow-up work session to discuss an alternative site for an animal shelter. In addition, the Board requested additional information regarding the terms of the USDA grant for the remodel of the former Juvenile Detention Center and the viability of a partnership with the City of Sierra Vista or other municipalities.
