Approve Proposal 2307-23135 with Pueblo Mechanical & Controls for the replacement of a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) unit under Mohave Cooperative Contract 19F-PMAC2-0904 in the Procurement Warehouse, in the amount of $55,533.36, effective September 12, 2023.

Background:

The current HVAC unit was placed without taking into account the proper size that is necessary for the space that it is intended to cool and heat. The unit has repeatedly failed to work properly and has left the Procurement and Finance staff to work in extremely uncomfortable working conditions. It is the Facilities Management Department's recommendation to replace this HVAC unit. 

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Issue Purchase Order to Pueblo Mechanical & Controls and begin scheduling the work. 

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

If not approved, the current HVAC unit will continue to fail, leaving the Procurement Department and the IT conference room without cooling or heating.
