Adopt Zoning Ordinance 23-23 to revert the zoning from SR-87 (Single-Family Residential, one dwelling per 87,000 square feet) to RU-4 (Rural, minimum lot size 4 acres) on parcels 124-01-013K and 124-01-013L, pursuant to a County-initiated request.
Background:
The subject parcels, APN 124-01-013K and 124-01-013L, were rezoned from RU-4 (Rural, One Dwelling per 4 Acres) to SR-87 (Single-Family Residential, minimum lot size 87,000 square feet) by the Board of Supervisors on October 25, 2011, Docket Z-11-06. The conditions of the rezoning have not been met. Staff request that the Board of Supervisors revert the zoning to RU-4.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Update the County's zoning map.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The zoning of the property will remain SR-87 and the County will not issue building permits.
